About the position

As our new Local Head of Marketing for France, you will be responsible for driving the digital marketing strategy, enhancing brand presence, and engaging our target audiences through innovative and data-driven campaigns to grow our brand awareness in the French market. You will play an integral role in growing the business, transforming how the company connects with our audience and attracting the right clients' segments in alignment with our Group Commercial strategy. Further, you will be leading a team of two professionals. You will report to the local COO with dotted lines to our Global Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute our marketing strategy.
  • Lead local market and competitor analysis to ensure messaging and media planning are grounded in real-world insights.
  • Define and implement digital marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness, attract high-quality leads, and convert them into loyal clients.
  • Brief, localize, and approve the creation of engaging marketing assets that align with our global brand.
  • Grow brand awareness in the French market.
  • Manage and optimize campaigns across various digital channels, including SEO, SEM, display, social media, content marketing, affiliates, and influencers.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve conversion rates, cost of acquisition, and overall ROI.
  • Work with the global marketing team to roll out global and local marketing campaigns using Paid, Owned, and Earned channels.
  • Collaborate with local marketing and local commercial teams to define and launch local initiatives.
  • Sign-off on marketing initiatives that are going live in the French market in alignment with Legal and Compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with HQ stakeholders from Client Insights, Marketing Strategy, Design, PR and Communications, and Paid Media.

Requirements

  • A marketing degree or a similar equivalent and a clear demonstrable interest or prior experience in the financial service industry.
  • Experience working in a media agency is a strong plus.
  • Digital marketing experience with a proven track record of developing, delivering, and managing highly targeted and effective digital campaigns.
  • Demonstrable ability to grow market share disproportionally to share of voice.
  • Fluent in French and English - written and verbal.
  • Strong commercial mindset and acumen for balancing customer needs with business goals.
  • Ability to synthesize analytics, insights, and intuition to develop, pilot, and scale marketing campaigns that increase impact and ROI.
  • A risk and compliance mindset ensuring that all activities meet regulatory requirements.
