MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Industrial / Manufacturing

About the position

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the growing team at our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. Competitive pay PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, great PTO plan and other benefits! 1st Shift: Mondays-Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance on equipment, maintaining PM checklists
• Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time
• Servicing CNC Edgers and Generators: cleaning, performing routine tasks, changing or fixing parts and recalibrating
• Maintaining Edgers and Blockers: keep filters and components clean, change cutters, checks for prism and axis
• Servicing other equipment and systems in the lab and other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Requires minimum 1-3 years experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, motors, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)
• Experience with optical manufacturing industry equipment desired
• No specific education is required
• Must be able to read and write English
