About the position

This is a leadership position focused on overseeing the implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). The LIS Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that clinical laboratory systems function efficiently, comply with regulatory standards, and support the organization’s diagnostic and operational goals. This position requires expert-level knowledge in clinical laboratory workflows, LIS platforms (e.g., Sunquest, SoftLab, Beaker, Pathnet, Copath), and healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR). The LIS Manager will lead major LIS-related initiatives, manage vendor relationships, collaborate with pathology and laboratory leaders, and serve as a key liaison between IT and clinical operations. This role demands a blend of technical leadership, strategic oversight, and healthcare domain expertise to support laboratory services that are vital to patient care and clinical decision-making.
