As the Head of Link Revenue & Growth, AMER, you will lead a team of high-performing sales executives while helping them deliver on ambitious targets for Link. We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving complicated problems with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have sales management and leadership experience bringing a new product to market, scaling a technology sales team, excellent communication skills, and a knack for understanding customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop and lead a team of product sales executives focused on the Link business
- Create go-to-market plans and solutions to meet our customer needs, in collaboration with Product, Sales, Finance and Marketing stakeholders
- Manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics
- Be accountable for driving revenue, increasing attach rates, and new client acquisition at high rates of growth
- Coach and guide the team in developing consultative and solution-based sales skills through all facets of the sales cycle
- Get hands on engaged in the largest, most strategic opportunities, leading executive relationships and helping the team win new customers
- Inspire, motivate, and enable individual development to promote career growth of direct reports
- Lead with clarity and context with a compelling plan in line with Stripe's direction
- Create structure and focus for GTM ideas and product sales campaigns that the product team is exploring. Drive execution and measurement. Analyze results and make recommendations for action in a timely manner
- Constantly innovate and improve programs and program management mechanisms, suggesting new ideas, sharing best practices, and improving the business and customer engagement model
Requirements
- 10+ years of technology sales experience
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- 3+ years of experience in payments or financial services industry
- Proven track record of high performance in a new business sales and existing customer upselling role for enterprise customers
- Ability to hire, train, and coach a high-performance sales team, and work in a matrixed environment
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships, motivate others, drive collaboration, teaming & resolve conflict between diverse stakeholder groups
- High energy, strong work ethic, disciplined execution skills, willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver results
