Manufacturing Operator Tech III (Surface)

About the position

The position involves ensuring that all lenses and job tray work tickets are properly seated into job trays prior to generator processing. The role requires the use of touch screen display control functions to perform jobs, clearing minor errors related to production, and correctly placing units into automatic loading positions. Additionally, the associate will examine and replace tools used in generator processing and perform support functions as necessary within the generator area. General daily and weekly maintenance tasks are also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all lenses and job tray work tickets/lenses are properly seated into job trays prior to surface Generator Processing.
• Read, comprehend, and reset touch screen display control functions.
• Clear minor errors pertaining to production and correctly place unit into automatic loading position.
• Verify fast tool blade alignment, proper clamping, and ensure chillers are cooling at proper temperatures.
• Clean, examine, and/or replace suction cups, inner work chamber, clamping collect, and pump station coolant release valve.
• Ensure polish reservoir, Baume reading, and chiller are within designated user specifications.
• Properly inspect polish flows and tool plate air pressures.
• Inspect B- Axis and fast tool bellows for excessive wear.
• Communicate and escalate issues with peers and principles.
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and overall facility.
• Comply with regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read English to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• General mathematical skills including basic adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions.
• General problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.

Benefits

• Full Time position with a pay range of $18.10 - $19.73 per hour.
