Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm, develop, and assist in the creation of engaging content across various marketing channels.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain dynamic social media content calendars for #1 Cochran's diverse Ohio dealerships.
  • Capture, professionally edit, and strategically publish high-quality automotive marketing content.
  • Actively monitor and cultivate online communities, fostering meaningful engagement.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of claims and reimbursement requests for co-op advertising programs.
  • Research and understand the latest trends in the automotive industry and digital marketing.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of monthly marketing and advertising expenditures.
  • Play a vital role in the planning, coordination, and execution of dealership events and community outreach initiatives.
  • Provide regular weekly and monthly reports on the performance of marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the management of relationships with local community organizations.
  • Assist the sales team with their online marketing endeavors.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Sales, or a closely related field.
  • Prior internship or work experience in a marketing, social media, or advertising role.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
  • Exposure to web analytics tools (Google Analytics GA4 preferred), online advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads), and content management systems (WordPress preferred).
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva; experience with Adobe Photoshop and video editing software is a bonus.
  • A foundational understanding of SEO best practices for optimizing digital content.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic photography and video shooting/editing skills suitable for social media content creation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.
  • Adaptability and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and video editing software.
