About the position

Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. The Rehabilitation Institute, the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) and a 35-bed 24-hour emergency department. Responsibilities

  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote SWHS services.
  • Work with corporate marketing and facility leaders.
  • Align marketing communications with brand messaging and content strategy.
  • Partner with key stakeholders throughout SWHS to ensure cohesion and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare marketing and social media marketing is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Strong customer service/problem-solving skills.
  • Exercises sound judgment in accessing appropriate resources for consultation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an acute attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience in public education, training, and presentations.
  • Experience in the creation and management of all advertising tactics including direct mail, print, digital and television.
  • Experience in planning, executing on-site management of events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online marketing tools for surveys and newsletters.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in marketing, public relations, and/or event coordination.
  • Excellent knowledge of all relevant social media platforms.
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
