About the position

The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data to provide actionable insights, improve campaign effectiveness, and drive business growth. This role involves monitoring key performance metrics, creating detailed reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create new marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Gather data from our marketing data warehouse and various marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media platforms, and email marketing tools).
  • Clean, organize, merge, and analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and monitor dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives (e.g., ROI, lead generation, customer acquisition cost).
  • Identify underperforming areas and recommend optimizations.
  • Support campaign tracking & development by providing data-driven recommendations on target audiences, channels, and strategies.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to refine future efforts.
  • Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to marketing teams, executives, and other stakeholders.
  • Present data insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Analyze customer behavior and journey data to support personalization and segmentation strategies.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitor performance to inform marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, sales, and product teams to align data insights with business goals.
  • Collaborate with IT or data science teams to improve data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Leverage tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL and marketing automation platforms to analyze and interpret data.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in analytics technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Math, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics or a similar role.
  • Strong skills in data wrangling, developing analyses & data visualization.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS, Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and marketing attribution modeling.
