About the position
The Marketing Intern position at Real Equity Management (REM) involves working under the direction of the Marketing Department to drive business goals and engage with the target market. Interns will create content, interact with followers, and manage social media accounts for various brands. The role includes collaboration with full-time graphic designers, specialists, and managers to contribute to the overall success of marketing campaigns and sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research and planning for events and marketing campaigns.
- Attend select events (including nights and weekends) to help facilitate and capture content (strong photography skills preferred).
- Update graphics for print and digital distribution (basic graphic design skills required).
- Distribute and install posters, signage, and flyers both on-site and in the community as needed.
- Support social media efforts by creating, scheduling, and monitoring content.
- Research social media trends and analyze competitor content to inform marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or coursework in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Prior experience in event planning, marketing, social media management, or graphic design is a plus.
- Understanding of all social media platforms, marketing strategies, and analytics.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and trends.
- Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including some weekends.
