About the position

The position involves coordinating with the Marketing Director to provide marketing support for Alberici's business units. The role includes managing pursuits such as prequalification questionnaires, proposals, and client presentations, as well as developing strategies and messaging for marketing materials. The individual will perform industry research, manage press releases, and oversee corporate communications. The position also requires maintaining project data in the CRM database and assisting in training new marketing department members. Travel across North America is required for client and project meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with Marketing Director to provide marketing support of sales/business development efforts for Alberici's business units.
  • Independently manages pursuits including prequalification questionnaires, proposals, client presentations and associated collateral materials.
  • Develops strategy and messaging for pursuits and marketing materials.
  • Independently performs focused industry research.
  • Manages development of press releases and creation of advertising concepts, including supervising approval and distribution.
  • Manages strategy development for social media and other marketing materials.
  • Manages submissions of award applications and surveys.
  • Manages external and internal corporate communications.
  • Coordinates with Marketing Director to identify, develop and manage departmental initiatives around improvement areas and new service offerings.
  • Entertains clients, joint venture partners, design partners and others as appropriate.
  • Maintains historical project and personnel data in the Client Relationship Management (CRM) database.
  • Gathers, organizes and compiles project experience for use in project profiles for proposals, CRM and the website.
  • Assists in training of new members of the marketing department.
  • Maintains collaboration sites for storage of electronic files and use by internal and external clients.
  • Travels to Company and subsidiary offices; offsite client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings; and other locations across North America to fulfill the essential duties of the role as required.
  • Exhibits regular and reliable attendance in person as required by the Supervisor, Company guidelines, and/or project and office obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field.
  • 7-15 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possesses the ability to write speeches and articles.
  • Effectively presents information to executive management, public groups and/or Board of Directors.
  • Organizes and manages time, duties and activities efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Possesses above-average communication skills-both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining level of quality service.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Office-based applications and project management software systems appropriate for this role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) from Society for Marketing Professional Services (or equivalent) preferred.
