About the position

As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Deputy Head of Marketing to optimize marketing platforms, systems, and processes to enhance campaign efficiency and performance reporting. Your role will involve stakeholder relationship management, workflow optimization, and leveraging digital technologies and AI to improve marketing capabilities. You will be part of a dynamic marketing team of 12, contributing to a new brand strategy and enhancing digital expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize marketing systems and tools, ensuring effective integration across marketing channels.
  • Produce and analyze performance evaluation reports, providing actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage workflows and standard operating procedures from briefing to evaluation, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Leverage digital marketing tools and technologies, including marketing automation and AI.
  • Maintain robust data management processes, ensuring data protection compliance while maximizing audience insights.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including supplier agencies.
  • Apply the principles, policies, and practices of Government Communications Service to a high professional standard.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of managing and integrating marketing platforms, systems, and processes to meet business objectives.
  • Experience of using data management and reporting tools to evaluate campaign performance and identify actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize efficient marketing workflows and processes.
  • Ability to develop strong, productive relationships at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create reports, interpret data, and provide actionable insights.
