About the position

The Marketing & Operations Support Specialist at Summa Health Systems provides support to multiple departmental areas including Claims, Customer Service, and Sales & Marketing. The role involves opening, sorting, and repricing claims, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting the marketing department by preparing disruption and geo results for both prospects and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Open, sort, and reprice claims.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Support the marketing department by preparing disruption and geo results for prospects and existing customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in health care, especially with medical claims preferred.
  • Call center and/or receptionist experience preferable.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse populations of patients/customers.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take directions from a supervisor/lead as well as work autonomously.
  • Desire to learn new skills as necessary.
  • Strong multi-task capabilities.
