About the position

Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy and/or programs in support of company goals. Accomplish results through collaborating with other teams including Sales and Presales and leading the planning and execution of campaigns and events to drive business objectives. Leverages domain and industry expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and executing Campaigns and Events for a defined vertical/set of verticals while working closely with internal stakeholders to establish priorities.
  • Responsible for project management and operations and logistics of marketing activities, events and/or campaigns in accordance with SAS's sales and marketing initiatives for both internal and external clients/customers/prospects.
  • Works closely with other senior members of the team on current and future events/activities/campaigns.
  • Analyzes data to make informed decisions on performance of campaigns and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitors individual project expenses to keep within budget guidelines; works to minimize costs and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilizes systems that enable marketing campaign development.
  • Collaborates closely within the marketing community at SAS as well as with internal stakeholders to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Collaborates with third party vendors and partners to support marketing objectives and goals.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of marketing and sales techniques, channels, business partner relationship development strategies, and/or knowledge of a specific industry, market, technology, or business initiative related to area of assignment.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Strong collaborator and team player.
