The Marketing Specialist will join the Optum Senior Community Care marketing team and support the marketing efforts for two UnitedHealthcare® health plans dedicated to supporting the needs of older adults living in nursing homes and senior living facilities. This position is involved in both B2B and B2C marketing strategies to grow awareness for our plans and drive member acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the tracking and reporting of direct-to-consumer and B2B marketing efforts and make recommendations based on insights
  • Support campaign execution, including management of technical requirements and asset development
  • Build collaborative partnerships with cross-functional business partners and vendors. Communicate proactively to manage expectations, project timelines, and logistics

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Marketing experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of campaign analytics and reporting; prior work analyzing campaign performance
  • Project management and communication skills to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners
  • Proven excellent organizational skills with a good sense of prioritization

Nice-to-haves

  • Health care industry experience
  • Experience working with paid media and executing digital and direct mail marketing campaigns
  • Experience working with internal creative teams and/or agency partners
  • Experience within a matrix organization
  • Experience with a project management tool, such as WorkFront
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
