About the position

The Associate, Marketing Strategy deeply understands how to build meaningful connections with consumers, forge integrated brand and merchant partnerships, and implements comprehensive marketing strategies, with a focus on business from (post with specific FOB apparel to beauty to home). In this role, you will be a strategic partner to the Director, Marketing Strategy, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to craft compelling brand stories that resonate with consumers and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director, Marketing Strategy, to translate brand objectives into actionable marketing plans across key timeframes, categories, and event types.
  • Gather product priorities in collaboration with merchants, to support marketing plan development.
  • Analyze data and utilize customer insights to inform development of marketing plans.
  • Develop innovative marketing activations (events, pop-ups, etc.) to generate excitement and engage target audiences on an emotional level.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (merchandising, content, creative, digital and customer teams, etc.) to foster a seamless customer journey.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing tactical support.
  • Collaborate with merchants on all information needed for creative style-outs and presentations including messaging and product priorities.
  • Effectively communicate marketing plan details and deliverables to cross functional teams, ensuring seamless integration across digital and in-store channels for specific product priorities.
  • Review all marketing assets to guarantee alignment with campaign objectives, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to measure effectiveness, extract key learnings, and optimize future planning.
  • Support the Director in fostering a collaborative and results-oriented marketing environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to deeply understand consumer behavior, preferences, and trends to build meaningful connections with them.
  • Proficiency in forging integrated partnerships between brands and merchants to amplify marketing efforts and drive business growth.
  • Competence in developing marketing plans aligned with sales targets and business goals and executing them effectively.
  • Experience in deploying marketing strategies across various channels, with a focus on experiential, digital, social media, and content marketing.
  • Capability to create buzz in the market through experiential activations, including events, pop-ups, and immersive brand experiences.
  • Ability to balance creativity with insights and data analysis to inform marketing strategies and decisions effectively.
  • Skill in continuously evolving the consumer journey, ensuring engagement with the right audience through appropriate channels at the right times.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams such as merchants and fashion offices to synchronize product priorities and messaging.
  • Understanding of the retail marketing space, including the ability to bring different brands to life for respective shoppers.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
