The Business Marketing Technology team is a vital component of the organization, operating at the intersection of business, technology, and operations. This team plays a crucial role in helping marketers realize their vision and strategy by designing and implementing technologies that drive efficiency and performance on a large scale. The team is closely aligned with bottom-line business goals and has an understanding of technology ecosystems and platforms. This enables them to prioritize solutions, articulate business requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver measurable results. The team's focus on innovation and impact ensures that they are constantly seeking new ways to improve marketing efforts and drive growth for the business. By leveraging their expertise in both marketing and technology, the Business Marketing Technology team is able to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that help the organization stay ahead of the competition. We are searching for a Marketing Technology Manager who will help drive the advancement and execution of marketing technology transformation efforts, working closely with Marketing, Engineering, Data Science and Operations teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing AND technology and will become an expert in the data, platforms and processes we use to deliver marketing. The Marketing Technology Manager will help evolve marketing efforts while also supporting the challenges of today, balancing tactical and strategic approaches to problem solving and issue resolution. This role will be responsible over-seeing the end-to-end architecture of our Salesforce solution, supporting our operations teams in existing campaign troubleshooting or maintenance, and supporting our platform leads in enabling new capabilities with the overarching end-to-end architecture in mind. The role will involve close collaboration and communications with technical and non-technical audiences and familiarity with marketing campaigns via online channels such as Email, Ads, and in-product notifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce solution.
  • Support operations teams in existing campaign troubleshooting or maintenance.
  • Collaborate with platform leads to enable new capabilities with the overarching architecture in mind.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations teams to drive marketing technology transformation efforts.
  • Identify and prioritize marketing use cases and deliver large projects end-to-end.
  • Build reference documentation and centralize processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with product management or marketing/advertising technology.
  • Technical understanding of martech tools, data flows, and platform architectures including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, and familiarity with HighSpot, Splash, and Knak.
  • Experience working directly with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to provide business cases and requirements.
  • Experience launching or driving adoption of products, demonstrating knowledge of customer needs.
  • Experience with operational processes and issue management and resolution.
  • Experience with digital marketing channels (Email, Facebook Ads, Display, Onsite Merchandising, etc.).
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in digital marketing.
