The Counseling and Psychological Services department at Florida State University is seeking a qualified individual to provide direct psychological services to university students. This includes individual, couples, and group counseling, as well as conducting clinical assessments and formulating diagnoses and treatment plans. The role also involves providing initial contact assessments, crisis intervention, and biopsychosocial evaluations for students, along with clinical consultations to family members and campus community constituents. Additionally, the position requires serving the greater FSU community through outreach presentations, program consultation, liaisons, prevention programming, and participation in CAPS and university committees. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the leadership team. The candidate will also be responsible for completing required documentation associated with clinical services, such as biopsychosocial evaluations, emergency evaluations, progress notes, and termination summaries according to established policies and procedures. Furthermore, the role includes providing clinical supervision and/or training of pre-master's interns, which may involve leading training seminars and presentations.
