The Music Organizations Marketing/Social Media Assistant assists the Music Organizations staff with daily duties and special projects with a focus on marketing and social media content development.
Responsibilities
Draft creative copy, source photos, manage calendar for St. Olaf Music social media accounts
Draft content and work with Assistant Director of Music Organizations to schedule and distribute marketing emails for ensemble performances throughout the academic year, both on tour and on campus
Assist in distribution of promotional mailings and packets, including preparation, inventory maintenance, and distribution
Help develop and maintain contact lists for Ambassador tour performances and promotional materials
Proofread and assist in copy-editing all marketing materials
Assist with maintaining St. Olaf Records inventory of and order fulfillment
Run errands around campus for music staff and faculty
Assist the Assistant Director of Music Organizations and Ticketing Coordinator of Music Organizations with administrative tasks
Other duties as assigned

Experience with Excel/Word and Google Docs/Sheets
Ability to focus and be productive in a high-traffic work environment
Capacity to successfully complete tasks independently, with little supervision
Ability to collaborate and interact well with staff members on large projects
