Network Software Development Engineer, Bandwidth Enforcer

About the position

ByteDance Networking brings together innovative ideas and technologies from network architecture, software defined networking (SDN), network virtualization, switch software and hardware co-design, and high-speed networking, to create hyper-scale data-center networking solutions that power several of the most popular apps of the world such as Douyin and TikTok which serve hundreds of millions of users around the globe. Network engineering SDN team, has been committed to the development and research in network traffic and routing control technologies and provide distributed software system to help manage and operate ByteDance's global network.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop server-side QOS marking and rate limit control system to cover multiple networks.
• Operation for bandwidth enforcer over business's traffic and solve issues in production.
