Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical histories for patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in patients of all ages.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Perform minor procedures and interventions as necessary and within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and medical records.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure to practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a primary care setting.
- Strong knowledge of chronic and acute care management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and technology.
