About the position
As a Physical Therapy Aide at AdventHealth, you will assist clinic professionals and staff daily, serving the needs of our patients in an outpatient setting. You will ensure treatment areas are clean, safe, and prepared for patients. This role provides a great opportunity to gain experience in an outpatient rehab setting for individuals interested in a therapy career. You will conduct occupational therapy under the supervision of an occupational therapist and implement treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist, utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques. You will monitor patient responses and progress to treatment, communicate with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as appropriate, and document and charge accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology. Additionally, you will educate patients, family members, and caregivers about identified needs and discharge recommendations.

Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
