About the position
The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters is seeking a Parole Agent III for a limited term of 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 24 months or becoming permanent. This position is located at the Riverside Parole Complex in Riverside County. The role involves utilizing the Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) for the hiring process, which allows candidates to track their application progress and set up interviews. Communication regarding the position will primarily occur via email, and candidates are encouraged to use their existing CDCR email addresses for applications.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department and with other governmental agencies.
- Facilitate the successful reintegration of individuals in care back to their communities.
- Provide education, treatment, and rehabilitative programs to promote community reintegration.
Requirements
- Possession of Minimum Qualifications as specified in the Class Specification for Parole Agent III.
- Ability to pass a background investigation process including Live Scan Fingerprinting and Tuberculosis testing.
