Part Time - Fulfillment Associate - Flexible

About the position

As a Fulfillment Associate at Lowe's, you will deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and stocked store. Your responsibilities will include being friendly and professional, responding quickly to customer and associate needs, ensuring merchandise is in good condition, accurately accounted for, and delivered to customers on-time. You will pull merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks and assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely. You will also prepare orders prior to pick up, replenish shelves, and load merchandise into vehicles. Safety is critical as you will frequently lift and move merchandise throughout your shift. Fulfillment Associates assigned to the Pro Department must be certified on power equipment within 30 days of starting in that department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and stocked store.
• Respond quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensure merchandise is in good condition and accurately accounted for.
• Pull merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
• Prepare orders prior to pick up and replenish shelves.
• Load merchandise into customer vehicles.
• Verify invoices against loaded products.
• Ensure deliveries are ready upon truck arrival.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• 6 months of experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as required by law.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
• 6 months experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
