About the position

Therapeutic Associates is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This is a hospital-based role focused on inpatient care, with the potential to float to the Acute Rehab unit as needed. We pride ourselves on providing 1:1 patient care and maintaining strong relationships with our referral sources. This site offers clinical mentorship, access to 2 inpatient PT gyms, and the opportunity to treat a wide range of diagnoses—including orthopedics, oncology, cardiac, and stroke. As an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, we also care for patients transferred in for higher-level treatment. We’re looking for a PT who’s flexible, team-oriented, and excited to grow in their practice. Responsibilities

  • Providing education and counseling to patient/family regarding treatments and goals, potential safety risks and/or other issues within scope of practice.
  • Evaluating physical and functional status, as well as cognitive, psychological, and perceptual ability to determine the patient’s capabilities to function (safely).
  • Documenting all evaluations, treatment, and coordination of care contacts via appropriate facility policies through EMR (EPIC) software.
  • Independently managing own case load to maximize effectiveness of overall care plan.
  • Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements, as well as facility/agency specific policies and procedures.
  • Supporting special projects and other designated activities as assigned in support of TAI’s mission and core values.
  • Work effectively with support staff.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership.

Requirements

  • Active Physical Therapist license in the applicable state, or ability to obtain licensure in the state.
  • Commitment to top quality patient care.
  • Must demonstrate eagerness to advance clinical skills and develop personal leadership excellence.
  • Must be able to work an established schedule with flexibility according to daily clinic needs.
  • Ideal candidates will embrace their role as mentor and teammate, supporting other staff as needed and fostering the advancement of Therapeutic Associates, Inc. as a learning organization.
