Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct students in classroom, online, and/or lab settings.
• Design and develop written syllabi/course outlines, curricula, and instructional materials.
• Evaluate students' comprehension through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
• Maintain office hours to assist and advise students.
• Participate in department, campus, and district-wide committees.
• Engage in professional growth opportunities to enhance subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in the teaching field or a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching field.
• Experience teaching Rhet/Comp-based First-Year Composition courses at the college level.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrable experience teaching hybrid and online courses.
• Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly in HSI or NASI contexts.
• Experience using active, collaborative, and innovative learning techniques.
• Knowledge of integrating artificial intelligence in teaching.
