The Role We are seeking a high energy technical professional to work in the product marketing position focused on our Digital Grid Management suite. This suite provides real-time control & optimization of complex energy & utility networks, with key capabilities in the areas of generation, transmission, and advanced distribution and microgrids. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is a global position that has primary responsibility for the messaging, positioning and sales enablement for our Digital Grid Management business and collaborates closely with customers as well as globally distributed cross-functional teams in Sales, Product Management, and Field Marketing to achieve business success as measured by growth in usage, revenue, and market share. Your Impact Responsible for collaborating to develop and execute the strategy and tactics to penetrate key market segments of power & utilities such as electric, water, gas etc. Ability to clearly demonstrate and articulate the value of AspenTech's solutions to a wide variety of business stakeholders. Develop value-based positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market. Identify Best Practices through research and case studies from customers. Develop and deliver sales and marketing materials and drive sales enablement within your area of responsibility. Translate technical terminology into comprehensible messaging to ensure successful marketing campaigns with compelling content. Development of conference content and identification of customer papers for AspenTech’s Global Conferences and customer-facing marketing events. Create content to drive solution awareness including product collateral, whitepapers, web, video, and social content. Work collaboratively with Industry Business Unit to ensure solution area messaging is representative of relevant industry dynamics. Coordinate the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product and new feature launches. What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline required, preferably Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, MBA a plus. 5 - 10 years’ experience of demonstrated success in power, utilities or related process industry segments. Successful history in product marketing, including experience with worldwide marketing campaigns. Experience with software solutions for utilities, energy, or power grid management is desired. Self-directed, highly motivated, detail-oriented, charismatic, personable. Excellent presentation, communication and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to understand and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability and willingness to travel at least 15% (including internationally). #LI-WJ1 The salary range for this role is $139,900.00 - $174,900.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
