Product Designer, Data Platform (Contract)

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to define technical scope, interaction patterns, and information architecture
• Work through product problems from definition and opportunity to shipping features to our customers
• Design and prototype precise and technically accurate prototypes to validate product directions
• Own the design for high-impact initiatives from research through implementation
• Effectively communicate in a hybrid environment that balances in-person collaboration and remote work

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent driving the design of software products, ideally SaaS, while maintaining a relentless focus on the user
• A strong portfolio of relevant design work that conveys an ability to ship successful data-centric products
• A track record of working with and affinity for product architectures and data-driven workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain the reasoning behind complex and highly technical decisions
• Experience contributing to a design system for complex software products
• Experience working with Product Management and Engineering teams in an agile environment

Nice-to-haves

• A background with data modeling, data science, or CRM development will serve you well in this role—but it is not a requirement
