About the position

Oversees Product Development, which prioritizes the sourcing, organization and distribution of all product data to internal departments and vendors. Products may include but are not limited to tours, activities, dine-arounds, venues, transportation, entertainment, décor, teambuilding, and production. Product Development is an extension of and works closely with the sales team to assess assets needed to produce more revenue. This position is remote and must reside in Florida or New Orleans.

Responsibilities

  • Continually source product and grow, audit and scrub existing tariffs and database ensuring products are updated, accurate and consistent to brand guidelines and formatting.
  • Enhance our current product offerings to keep them fresh and competitive through industry research and analysis.
  • Assist sales team with sourcing new vendors and adding products to tariff and database library as needed per client requests, team needs, and pro-actively.
  • Maintain professional and positive relationships with vendors.
  • Initiate conversations with new vendors to vet their offerings to ensure they are up to MC&A standards.
  • Send MC&A new vendor paperwork to potential new suppliers, receive signed copies and file in the appropriate areas.
  • Continually share with the team new or existing vendors and their products/services in addition to coordinating vendor meetings with the team.
  • Assist sales team with creating client presentations and participate in client meetings and/or presentations, virtually or in-person, as needed.
  • Work closely with co-workers and multimedia team to build and maintain sales promotional material, MC&A corporate documents and other necessary material as company needs evolve.
  • Organize and manage internal image library by appropriately saving, labeling and sharing with the team.
  • Attend industry-related and partner events to establish and maintain a presence in the local market and to stay relevant with new offerings and trends.
  • Collaborate with other MC&A Product Development Managers and co-workers on developing and implementing processes for maintaining brand standards.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Preferably 1 year experience in the DMC industry.
  • Comprehensive computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, virtually and in-person.
  • Must be able to effectively multitask with overseeing concurrent projects in deadline driven environment and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, resourceful, and able to work both independently as well as with a team.
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal direction.
