About the position

Kodak Moments is seeking a self-motivated Product Engineer to join our Kodak Moments Thermal Media Manufacturing Operation in Windsor, Colorado. This operation is an integral part of the Kodak Moments worldwide photo printing business. The primary aim of this role is to provide product quality and chemical analytical engineering support for ongoing manufacturing and the development of Thermal Media products. The successful candidate must be a problem-solver at their core, possess strong technical and quality skills, have a customer-focused mindset, and demonstrate personal drive and stamina for relentless, continual improvement both personally and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product engineering and analytical chemistry support for thermal media products.
  • Investigate product nonconformance and customer complaints.
  • Lead and support product and analytical testing methods, including identifying appropriate tests, qualifying procedures, calibrating equipment, and conducting gauge repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) studies.
  • Support and provide leadership for new product development and commercialization efforts.
  • Manage supplier quality using Lean tools, SPC, and scorecards.
  • Lead or contribute to quality improvement and workflow optimization projects.

Requirements

  • Experience in chemical/material manufacturing and/or development.
  • Proficiency in analytical testing (e.g., GC-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis).
  • Skilled in quality tools: fishbone diagrams, FMEA, SPC, DoE, hypothesis testing.
  • Strong statistical and experimental design skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and data presentation skills.
  • Collaborative and self-driven with a results-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves

  • Coating and/or printing experience.
  • Six-Sigma (Green and/or Black) and Lean Manufacturing training.
  • Product Commercialization experience.
