As the Core Lab market leader in the US, the Core Lab team excels at the identification, commercialization and the full end-to-end management of reagent solutions that enable our customers to deliver on their overarching priorities, including improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive portfolio/product strategy that includes product requirements, pricing strategy, and launch logistics to accomplish business objectives.
  • Gather customer insights and utilize those insights to influence the global Lifecycle Team on product requirements for new and existing solutions.
  • Partner closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Cardiometabolic, to develop and execute on a comprehensive portfolio strategy and drive adoption of new and existing solutions across the US.
  • Develop business cases and pricing strategies for Cardiometabolic assays in development or in the pipeline.
  • Understand the performance of on-market and soon-launching products to support the annual business planning process.
  • In conjunction with the demand planning team, gather input and data to create product forecasts and business plans that drive growth for assigned products.
  • Develop business area mastery, including understanding of market segments, forecasting sales and product demand, market trends, competition, critical success factors, and needs through interactions with customers and other key stakeholders.
  • Support customer conversations and presentations, including but not limited to customer meetings, IHN visits, 360 events, and medical conferences.
  • Instill leadership through others by acting as a role model to drive impactful business solutions and positive change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketing, or other Life Sciences or business-related fields.
  • 5 years of product management, marketing, business, or equivalent work experience in the healthcare industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated business acumen, primarily in data-driven decision making, developing financial business cases and pricing recommendations, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Technical aptitude, with experience acting as a technical leader or proven ability to learn and speak to technical topics.
  • Understanding of the Cardiometabolic market, customer needs, and competitor solutions.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to independently drive multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills preferred.
  • Understanding of laboratory operations, health systems, diagnostics business, and/or the proven ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google suite tools.
