About the position

At NuHarbor, Product Management is critical to understanding and documenting the requirements of our business, processes, clients and prospects while driving enterprise execution from concept through development. This means taking responsibility for converting great ideas and requirements into stories and delivery plans while helping the engineering team to prioritize and drive success. Within our growing and technically evolving organization this role is crucial to our continued success, as it is focused primarily on continually evolving and enhancing our capabilities, enabling us to remain technology-enabled leaders in the crowded security services market.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define quality requirements for service and service support enhancements
  • Set delivery expectations, balancing stakeholder needs with the need for ongoing support of a critical managed service
  • Capture market, client, and optimization requirements to inform, prioritize, and document engineering strategy
  • Build roadmaps, epics, and stories aligned to the organizational vision and documented requirements
  • Work collaboratively with security services, engineering, marketing, design, and other teams to ensure consistent delivery of new and evolving services and service improvements
  • Create internal champions throughout the organization to ensure support of product roadmaps

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of product management experience
  • In lieu of a degree two (2) years of experience in product management
  • Two (2) years or more experience, with digital transformation, solution design, business planning, strategy development, competitive analysis, or financial analysis
  • Experience with complex projects and client requirement definition
  • Experience utilizing Agile Development process like Kanban, Lean, or Scrum
  • Proven organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentations skills
  • Self-starting and collaborative work style
  • Desire and ability to continuously learn and apply new technical skills
  • Ability to self-manage time and tasks as well as engagements to ensure timely and accurate response to requests
  • Must be a citizen of the United States

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstratable experience influencing others to gain commitment and build solutions
  • Knowledge or interest in cybersecurity, particularly the application and use of security terminology and best practices
  • Exposure with change management practices
  • Experience with managed security, or another similarly complex service or SaaS offering
  • Experience within the Cybersecurity fields of SIEM, MDR, Assurance, or Penetration Testing
