As a Product Manager, you will report to the Director of Product Management and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering. Responsibilities

  • Research and evaluate the market, current and potential customers, and the competition.
  • Dive into assigned products and become an SME of current functionality and behavior.
  • Build an understanding and appreciation for the pain points that the various internal and external personas are looking to improve in their daily tasks to improve the hiring process and ongoing employee management.
  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for improving our internal integrations products that enrich decision-making and provide further value for our internal customers as well as external-facing customers utilizing our next-generation platform.
  • Identify opportunities for improving existing products or enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear product specifications and work with technical teams to ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate alongside the engineering team to prioritize and implement product features and address technical debt.
  • Tell compelling stories using data crafted from both publicly available and internal data, digestible by both techies and non-techies alike.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, marketing, and sales) to ensure product alignment and a successful go-to-market strategy for the given products.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Create user documentation and internal enablement collateral.
  • Maintain a feedback loop for continuous improvement of internal products, using metrics, user feedback, and data analysis to drive and prioritize iterative development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or math.
  • For non-computer science majors, hands-on experience with software development, launch, and/or management of a data platform.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in product management or a related role with a track record of successful product delivery.
  • Understanding of product development lifecycle and experience with SDLC tools such as the Atlassian suite of tools or Azure DevOps.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze data and use it to make informed decisions, as well as experience to prioritize in cases where data may not be available.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in data platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Looker, or other equivalent solutions.
  • Experience in CRM Tools such as Dynamics 365, HubSpot, and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computing platforms, software architecture, and database designs.
  • Experience with Scrum.
