The Product Manager of Credential Platforms will be a part of the Global Software Solutions team that is focused on our Credential Software products. Our team is building the future experiences for Allegion’s customers and partners for mobile credential products. This person will be responsible for developing the product vision and strategy for the foundation of Allegion’s credential product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product strategy and optimize product lines to meet business objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of markets, channels, and customer needs.
  • Evaluate future market opportunities and adjust product strategy accordingly.
  • Lead the development of business cases and investment strategies.
  • Translate complex business challenges and market opportunities into product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Represent the business as part of the technical team on sprint planning and prioritization.
  • Incorporate voice of customer (VoC) into product vision and feature development.
  • Develop product roadmap and collaborate cross functionally to prioritize feature development.
  • Gather and analyze data for product life cycle management and make recommendations.
  • Support product life cycle activities such as new product development and marketing.
  • Proactively assess and evaluate market opportunities and threats.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and leaders across the business.
  • Communicate product line updates, strategy, and prioritization to stakeholders.
  • Lead larger scope product portfolios and complex business challenges.
  • Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with the development team in preparing for and undertaking PI Planning.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance Manager and other relevant product owners.
  • Exhibit a high willingness to collaborate cross functionally and across business units.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
  • Work with scrum team(s) during feature execution and lead sprint planning and stand ups.
  • Own and manage the backlog, continuously ordering and prioritizing it.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management or related role.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Ability to prioritize and make trade offs between customer experience and time to market.
  • Extensive experience in collaborating cross functionally and managing complex business challenges.
