About the position

GoFundMe is the world’s most powerful community for good, dedicated to helping people help each other. By uniting individuals and nonprofits in one place, GoFundMe makes it easy and safe for people to ask for help and support causes—for themselves and each other. Together, our community has raised more than $40 billion since 2010. The GoFundMe Pro team is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and execution-oriented B2B Product Marketing Manager to lead positioning, go-to-market strategy, and adoption efforts for our APIs, developer tools, as well as broader PLG and SaaS product experiences. This role blends technical depth with go-to-market strategy and execution —ideal for someone who understands the API and integration space but also thrives in shaping qualitative/quantitative research, feedback loops, influencing roadmap, messaging, driving lifecycle adoption campaigns, and partnering across Product, Growth, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success to accelerate growth. You won’t just launch features—you’ll be a key voice in shaping what we build and how we take it to market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical messaging for partner and developer audiences differentiated messaging for GoFundMe Pro’s APIs, integrations, and SaaS platform capabilities.
  • Translate complex technical features into benefit-driven narratives tailored for developers, IT teams, nonprofit operations, and business decision-makers.
  • Adapt positioning for multiple personas and product surfaces—balancing developer specificity with broader customer outcomes.
  • Lead tiered GTM strategies—from ideation to launch to post-launch refinement—for both API-focused, SaaS, and PLG-driven product initiatives.
  • Define and execute launch plans including release notes, walkthroughs, and campaign assets, while driving cross-functional alignment across Product, Growth, and Marketing.
  • Partner with demand gen and lifecycle teams to run in-product campaigns, onboarding flows, and self-serve adoption efforts that support both product-led and sales-assisted growth motions.
  • Develop success metrics and track performance across developer satisfaction & partner engagement, integration adoption, time to value, feature activation & expansion.
  • Work closely with the Partnerships team to understand partner ecosystem needs related to integrations and APIs.
  • Act as a thought partner to Product Managers and Designers, bringing in insights from the market, field, competitive landscape, and customer base to shape the roadmap.
  • Run beta programs and voice-of-customer loops to refine positioning and prioritize the right product bets.
  • Build opportunity cases for roadmap initiatives using customer behavior, adoption data, and ecosystem analysis.
  • Translate partner and product signals into clear, data-backed recommendations that help leadership prioritize and greenlight partner-facing launches.
  • Leverage integration usage insights and cross-functional relationships to drive alignment and momentum.
  • Equip internal teams—especially Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering—with the tools to confidently speak to product value.
  • Build scalable enablement content for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Support educational initiatives across documentation, in-app guides, and partner enablement programs.
  • Conduct competitive research on leading API platforms, integration strategies, and PLG motion benchmarks across the SaaS and nonprofit tech landscape.
  • Continuously gather user feedback and analyze developer and operator behavior to improve messaging, onboarding, and roadmap prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Product and Analytics to uncover adoption blockers and uncover new monetization or engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain tight feedback loops with key stakeholders to inform strategy and execution.
  • Help improve Product Marketing workflows for agility and scale.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in Product Marketing, ideally in SaaS, API platforms, integrations, and PLG environments.
  • A proven track record leading technical GTM launches with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong positioning and storytelling skills—you distill complexity into clarity and resonance by audience and/or customer segments.
  • Curiosity and analytical depth—you thrive on turning qualitative and quantitative insights into action.
  • A cross-functional mindset—you partner across teams to align strategy and drive outcomes.
  • Experience with tools like Amplitude, Figma, ClickUp, Crayon/Klue, or similar is a plus.
