About the position

As a Product Marketing Specialist for JD Construction & Forestry located in Moline, IL, you will enhance customer engagement, gather customer insights, advocate for customer needs, coordinate machine deliveries, facilitate customer onboarding, support dealer training, and develop marketing content. Your role will ensure an exceptional customer experience for all participating clients and involve managing the delivery of field machines to dealers, including onboarding them to processes and expectations. You will also assist in the development and delivery of dealer training during the launch process and contribute to the creation of engaging marketing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance Customer Engagement: Ensure an exceptional customer experience for all participating clients.
  • Gather Customer Insights: Collect valuable feedback on the performance, technology, and user experience of excavator field machines through field visits, phone calls, and surveys.
  • Advocate for Customer Needs: Summarize feedback and present it to key stakeholders, championing actions that align with customer expectations.
  • Coordinate Machine Deliveries: Manage the delivery of field machines to dealers, including onboarding them to processes and expectations.
  • Customer Onboarding: Facilitate smooth machine deliveries and conduct comprehensive walk-arounds for customers.
  • Support Dealer Training: Assist in the development and delivery of dealer training during the launch process.
  • Develop Marketing Content: Contribute to the creation of engaging marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Excellent Communication: Proficient in both face-to-face and phone interactions with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues.
