About the position

The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for providing support for product focused lines of business. This includes managing projects and initiatives and coordinating marketing campaigns to support the organization's strategic initiatives and specific line of business goals to drive member growth and deepen relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support line of business goals and key organization initiatives by managing and creating integrated marketing campaigns, promotions and product launches across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Lead Brand Marketing efforts on product related cross-functional projects by coordinating project planning, and prioritizing key deliverables all while working to accomplish tasks to fit into the department workload.
  • Identify trends and best practices to uncover opportunities for product differentiation by partnering and collaborating with line of key partners such as BI Analytics, Product Management and Market Research.
  • Create marketing and creative briefs and campaign lookbacks and share with leadership and key line of business partners.
  • Manage product marketing campaign deliverables in Asana for project management and ensure deliverables meet expected timelines.
  • Assist in budget management efforts to ensure ROI is maximized and marketing objectives are met while staying within allotted budget.
  • Collaborate with Communications, Retail, Product Management, and Training to identify and develop key messaging to assist with product launch execution.
  • Provide product training and financial education in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and line of business partners.
  • Ensure deliverables meet brand guidelines and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration (or actively pursuing degree), or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum three years of experience including one year of product marketing and/or project management experience required.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Must be creative and detail oriented with high level of organization skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and manage competing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous financial or product management experience strongly preferred.
