About the position

Old National Bank is seeking a Senior Digital Technical Product Owner to join our business-focused IT team. This role is crucial in developing a strategic roadmap for delivering digital solutions to the Community Bank's line of business. The Senior Product Owner will manage business request intake, technical solutioning, and the strategic planning of IT resources to drive business success. This position requires a strong understanding of digital experience, application design, agile frameworks, and technology infrastructure. The Senior Product Owner will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring that digital initiatives align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate enhancements in line with changing business needs in digital client experience.
• Create and foster partnerships with internal stakeholders to develop an expert knowledge base of the business.
• Work with business sponsors to determine strategic and complex business requirements.
• Partner with the product manager on digital backlog, product roadmap & execution of digital platform product objectives.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize user stories and maintain a product backlog.
• Lead delivery of new features and defects, directing technical teams and partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Construct and coordinate development processes and ensure teams are clear on work priorities.
• Guide and train others in the concept and processes of product management.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with vendors and external industry contacts.
• Provide superior customer service to external/internal clients.
• Prepare documentation of changes for SOX, internal and external auditors, and other regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years' experience as a technical digital product owner or comparable technical role.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, digital technologies, and user experience principles.
• Ability to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor product performance.
• Extensive experience in technical business analysis and solutioning in banking or a related industry.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight as needed.
