About the position

The Product Quality Specialist plays a key role in supporting OEM Customers through resolving product issues and managing issues in the quality management system. This individual will work closely with the Research & Development, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping teams to ensure successful resolutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer quality requirements including non-conformance reports, Warranty claims, and 8D or similar requests
  • Collaborate and partner with various teams to ensure efficient and effective problem solving and resolution
  • Document details, develop resolution plans, and develop long-term plans to prevent recurrence
  • Focus on process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement
  • Read and interpret technical documents including prints, engineering standards, engineering change notices, and product manuals

Requirements

  • Hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, IT, or related field, or have an equivalent combination of education and production experience
  • Two or more years of experience in Product Quality or Customer Support role
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Standard
  • Hands on experience/demonstrated proficiency with various Risk Assessment analysis tools
