About the position

As a Product Specialist at Baxter Ford West Dodge, you will help transform the auto industry by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism. Your role includes conducting vehicle feature presentations, assisting guests during test drives, and ensuring strong product knowledge to support customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for maintaining communication with guests post-delivery, coordinating with Sales and Service departments, and ensuring vehicles meet pre-delivery requirements. This position requires regular attendance and may involve travel to guests' residences.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains professionalism and delivers excellent customer service to each guest.
  • Conducts vehicle feature and benefit presentations by assisting guests on their test drives.
  • Maintains strong product knowledge for all manufacturer products to support guests’ questions.
  • Directs guests to additional information resources by staying attuned to all manufacturer changes and updates.
  • Explains and demonstrates vehicle features and technologies at delivery, answering any questions that might arise from the customer.
  • Takes photos of new and used cars to be put on the company website.
  • Maintains consistent guest communication after delivery to ensure guest satisfaction is met.
  • Travels to and from guests’ residences with potential extended geographic locations.
  • Effectively coordinates and communicates with Sales and Service departments to ensure guest experience is met.
  • Ensures all vehicles meet all pre-delivery requirements.
  • Drives between dealerships to pick up or drop off other vehicles.
  • Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager.
  • Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
  • Makes key tags for vehicles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Customer Service Experience preferred.
