About the position
The San Pasqual Valley Unified School District is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a bus driver. The selected candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for students, staff, and the public. The role requires the ability to evacuate students from the school bus and perform all duties associated with being a bus driver. The position also emphasizes the importance of maintaining a positive presentation of assigned areas.
Responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities.
- Meet the requirements to evacuate students from the school bus.
- Provide an attractive, safe, and sanitary environment for students, staff, and the public.
- Enhance a positive presentation of assigned areas.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL with P, S, Endorsement.
- Valid Medical Certificate.
- California Special Driver Certificate (preferred).
- Valid First Aid Card.
- Tuberculosis Screening.
- Drug/Alcohol Testing Clearance.
- DMV Printout.
- Letter of Introduction.
- Resume.
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation issued within the last two years (Must be dated with signatures).
- Letter of Intent outlining specific skills, experience, and reasons for interest in the position.
