The candidate in this position will contribute to the Quality Assurance team by working closely with manufacturing, engineering, warranty and suppliers to focus on our drive to be the highest quality compact equipment in the industry.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze warranty and customer complaint data to prioritize issues and drive continuous improvement.
Work with production, engineering, and suppliers to identify root causes and create corrective action plans to address issues from warranty or customer complaints.
Create, issue and complete Supplier Corrective Action requests.
Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with team members on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.
Regularly communicate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Control, and Supply Chain team members internally to identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvement.
Collect, maintain, and report on quality performance metrics.
Regularly visit suppliers and assist the supply chain group in conducting supplier audits.
Participate in Engineering Change meetings to ensure thoroughness and compliance.
Provide support and analysis on special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Three (3) years of Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or Test Engineering experience.
Experience with application of GD&T.
Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Experience with Windchill.
