REMOTE Software Test Engineer- Secret Clearance REQUIRED

About the position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join a Government Consulting company through 100% remote work. The Software Test Engineer will work closely with developers, professional services team and product managers to define the automated testing components that will be used to validate requirements against developed software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Conduct automated testing across Functional, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing phases.
• Analyze automation results and generate detailed reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to SAFe Agile delivery processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Java development experience; experience with tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
• Hands-on experience with automated test coding using Java or similar languages (C++, C#).
• Familiarity with Serenity, Cucumber, and open-source test frameworks.
• Experience with front-end technologies and JavaScript frameworks (preferred).
• Prior experience in federal IT programs and Agile environments.
• Ability to maintain a fully adjudicated DoD Secret Clearance.
