This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.

Responsibilities

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree in job related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the development and implementation of Salesforce based applications using Salesforce Cloud Computing
  • Strong Salesforce knowledge of Visualforce, Apex Programming, Apex Web Services and Application Configuration
  • Strong experience leveraging Process Builder, Flow, widgets, console components, approvals, security model, large-scale processes for customized workflows
  • Understanding of integration efforts and tasks with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and third-party app-exchange solutions
  • Experienced at contributing to story refinement/defining requirements
  • Ability to participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Proven ability to code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Has demonstrated the ability to design and develop significant components within an application
  • Experience in developing reusable UI Components with Aura and Lightning Component Frameworks
  • Experience with Inter-Components communication pattern
  • Experience with Styling components using Lightning design system
  • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular)
  • Experience with CI/CD, BitBucket, Jenkins, Gulp, NodeJS
  • Experience with Agile Methodology

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce certified software engineer that is experienced with delivering solutions for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud including multiple integration points
  • Financial Services or other related industry experience
  • Competency with MS SQL Server, MYSQL, and/or Oracle Cloud and MuleSoft technologies
  • Experienced using RESTful Web Services
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
