About the position
This is a Software Test Engineer position. In this role the candidate works on a team responsible for testing QTI security solutions on Qualcomm chipsets. The role involves a good mix of hands-on testing of the products and software development of test cases and automation using a combination of C/C++, Python and XML. Engineers will be responsible for developing software test applications and test automation which may include the following responsibilities: Design test plan to validate security protocol and algorithm and its interaction with other applications. Develop and implement test applications at both API level and system level using C and C++. Automating test cases in Python. Test execution, troubleshooting and problem resolution on embedded software platforms. Interact in a team environment with developers, system engineers and testers.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Software development skills in C, C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of cryptography and security protocol is a plus.
- Team player, work independently with minimum supervision.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
