About the position

As the Senior Associate of Dasher Retention Marketing, you will own the onboarding and new driver lifecycle communication programs to improve Dasher quality and retention. You’ll leverage email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging to drive acquisition and engagement while also developing new levers to ensure that every driver has the information needed to be successful on the platform. You will collaborate with all parts of the business including Product, Strategy and Operations, and Analytics to ensure the Rewards and Ratings programs meet the growing needs of drivers and contribute to our business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and implement CRM strategies to improve DoorDash acquisition and early lifecycle retention.
  • Experiment with new strategies and CRM tactics to deliver a personalized end-user experience.
  • Implement the strategy and framework to personalize Dasher communications based on their market supply health, preferences, and behaviors.
  • Execute on an A/B testing roadmap (layout, format, frequency, cadence, creative, copy, etc.) to continuously improve email performance.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, operations, and product partners to lead the go to market communications strategy for New Dasher programs.
  • Manage the campaign strategy end to end, including driving the creative review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters, identifying target audience segments and capturing feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Analyze campaign results, develop benchmarks, and create and share regular performance reports.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in marketing or growth overall; 2+ years of experience in lifecycle, email, CRM, or retention marketing.
  • Experience working on early lifecycle programs is a plus.
  • Able to analyze data-driven marketing campaigns, experience with SQL a plus.
  • A record of driving business results via cross-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Sigma, Tableau, etc.
  • Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
