About the position
Trissential is seeking a Senior Consultant, UI/UX Developer to join our client team remotely in Minneapolis, MN. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your deep expertise in human-centered design and UI/UX principles to shape the user experience for a high-performance web application supporting critical public service programs. You'll work on impactful projects that enhance accessibility, usability, and functionality while directly contributing to the success of vital initiatives. Your ability to design intuitive user interfaces, optimize workflows, and create scalable solutions will ensure seamless usability for stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints, delivering user-centric designs
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform and refine design decisions
- Develop UX architecture, including sitemaps, journey maps, wireflows, and taxonomy designs, ensuring clear and logical user pathways
- Design low- and high-fidelity prototypes to validate concepts and integrate user feedback iteratively
- Build reusable component libraries and design systems to promote consistency and scalability across applications
- Develop and implement modern HTML/CSS-compliant web components, adhering to accessibility standards
- Partner with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and seamless integration of designs
- Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to internal staff, ensuring long-term success
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with 3+ years working with tools like Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Axure, or Adobe XD
- Proven expertise in human-centered design, with a focus on accessibility, usability, and innovative UX/UI principles
- Strong experience creating customer journey maps, information architectures, and solving design challenges using UX patterns
- Familiarity with modern design and development workflows, including A/B testing and behavioral analytics

- Exceptional ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders
- Strong communication skills to present design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes to test and iterate on design ideas effectively
