The National Security Space Business Area of Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA is seeking an experienced, creative, and high energy Software Engineer with recent and relevant skills. We're seeking candidates who are passionate about their craft, adamant about product quality and focused on our customer's mission. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software components using C++ for Software Defined Radio and programmable satellite payloads.
  • Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to demo work and gather feedback.
  • Engage in frequent interactions with peers, teammates, and customers in other geographical locations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in software development using C/C++, Java, and Python (minimum 3 years experience).
  • Working knowledge of the Agile Manifesto and agile frameworks.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of GPS Systems and Satellite Constellations.
  • Experience with digital signal processing and RF systems.
  • Ability to travel within the US up to 25%.
  • Experience integrating Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware devices into software-based systems.
  • Familiarity with Server Operations Systems, including RedHat Linux.
  • Experience with development/scripting tools like VS Code and Bash.
