Dive in and do the best work of your career at DigitalOcean. Journey alongside a strong community of top talent who are relentless in their drive to build the simplest scalable cloud. If you have a growth mindset, naturally like to think big and bold, and are energized by the fast-paced environment of a true industry disruptor, you'll find your place here. We value winning together-while learning, having fun, and making a profound difference for the dreamers and builders in the world. We're looking for a Senior Product Analyst with deep technical expertise in SQL, dbt, and Snowflake to join our data-driven team. This highly cross-functional role partners closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to uncover user insights, inform product strategy, and measure the success of features. You will own analytics projects end-to-end-from data modeling and instrumentation planning to experimentation and communicating insights that drive product decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product analytics initiatives that inform roadmap prioritization, user behavior insights, and product performance.
  • Build and maintain robust dbt models and data pipelines in Snowflake to support self-serve product metrics and scalable experimentation.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to define success metrics, track user engagement, and surface opportunities for product improvements.
  • Design and execute deep-dive analyses and A/B tests to evaluate feature performance, product-market fit, retention, and growth levers.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner in product development cycles, surfacing insights that shape how we build and iterate on the product.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, documentation, and governance in partnership with data engineering and analytics teams.
  • Drive automation and repeatability in product analytics processes and reporting frameworks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or a related analytics field, ideally within a B2B SaaS or consumer technology company.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data sets in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining dbt models in a production environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to turn data into actionable product insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills-you're comfortable translating technical findings into compelling narratives for product and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with product instrumentation and event tracking tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Sigma.
  • Knowledge of experimentation frameworks and experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle metrics such as activation, engagement, retention, and churn.
  • Experience mentoring other analysts or managing product analytics projects end-to-end.

Benefits

  • Competitive array of benefits to support well-being, including Employee Assistance Program and flexible time off policy.
  • Reimbursement for relevant conferences, training, and education.
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning's 10,000+ courses for continued growth and development.
  • Salary range of $110,000 - $137,500 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills.
  • Eligibility for a bonus based on company and individual performance.
  • Equity compensation including equity grants upon hire and participation in Employee Stock Purchase Program.
