About the position
As a Senior Product Designer on the DashPass team, you will drive the strategy across several initiatives aimed at creating and evolving our membership benefits. You'll craft experiences that showcase our expanding portfolio of services: Premium delivery from restaurants and local businesses, Exclusive discounts and perks, Partner benefits spanning rideshare, entertainment, and more, Members-only features that enhance the core DoorDash experience. You will work closely with partners across Product, Data, and User Research to understand the customer's problems and define customer-first solutions that help increase the consumer value of the membership. You will uniquely be responsible for up-leveling the craft and visual execution of the team by defining the DashPass visual language and system within the app.
Responsibilities
- Contribute directly to DoorDash's consumer product strategy and define the future of our service.
- Explore complex, ambiguous problem spaces, working with your team to understand the opportunity, and then chart a path forward.
- Explore and refine your design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual design.
- Influence your team's approach to product development, shaping the team's culture, processes, and practices.
- Improve the lives of millions of DoorDash customers every day.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience and a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to maintain a high bar for craft at scale.
- Experience leading new initiatives and creating high craft outputs in a team environment.
- Excellent storytelling and ability to articulate complex topics clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Enjoy solving problems and use a 'first principles' approach to Design.
