About the position
DoorDash is looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design and strategy across the end-to-end Dasher and Consumer experience with a specific focus on Delivery Quality. This role focuses on designing for multiple audiences (specifically Dasher and Consumer) encompassing the most crucial aspect of deliveries- quality. It involves helping Dashers understand how they provide the best in class delivery experience to our customers and merchants. Additionally, the role also involves designing experiences for merchants and customers to collect the right types of input in order to set Dashers up for success. This is a highly visible and critical role in a complex, evolving space. By improving the overall quality, you’ll play a key part in directly impacting all three sides of the marketplace, while also helping the business thrive.
Responsibilities
- Create step-change improvements by envisioning the long-term Dasher experience and realizing them through execution on new products and services for Dashers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in PM, Engineering, Research and Operations to influence our product and design strategy by building a great user experience for our complex three-sided marketplace.
- Push the creative boundaries of our Dasher experiences, that sets a new baseline for craft and affect the product will have in the industry.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience and a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to maintain a high bar for craft at scale and experience leading new initiatives and delivering impact in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for elevating the user experience.
- Great story-telling skills, and can rationalize your proposals in a clear way to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with problem spaces that range across multiple audiences.
